As many of you know that follow my Instagram and Facebook, we are moving house. Today we finally had the good news, that our chain is complete and now we can work on pushing the sale forward as smoothly as we can. Then will come the exciting part of making plans! Currently the kitchen is a bit “boring” and I will be straight in there painting the tiles and cupboard doors to a more neutral colour. We do have bigger plans, but I just cant live with bright blue tiles, and orangey wooden doors. This is the kitchen as it is now:
We are buying all new appliances, as we currently only have a slimline dishwasher, which is pointless when there are 5 people are in the house, it’s on constantly throughout the day. Plus our fridge freezer is slimline, and again too small for the 5 of us, so we can get a full height, standard width one in the new house. We are also looking at the range of microwaves in UK by Panasonic, because we currently have no worktop to put one on, and they do come in handy for quick meals and reheating meals when I batch cook for the freezer.
The only appliances I plan on taking with me, is my food mixer, Ice Cream machine & the kettle. We have today purchased a new washing machine we found in the sales. The cooker, oven and hood are integrated, so we will have to see what condition they are in when we move in. Hopefully they will be ok until we fit a new kitchen.
It such an exciting time, I love moving house, starting a new project… next week I will be sharing my “decor” ideas for the kitchen. I am thinking slate greys, wood, and stainless steal…
