Thursday 22nd September the doors open to the brand new Homesense store in Bristol. I was lucky to be invited to have a peek inside before the doors open to the public. Living opposite a TK MAXX the sister store to Homesense, I am quite familiar with their home range and I am often found just having a look around. Its a store you have to visit regularly as their range is constantly changing, if you see some thing you like, grab it, you are unlikely to see it again.
The doors will open at 10am, but its advised to arrive for 9.30am to get in the queue ready to grab some bargains. They will be serving coffee and treats to celebrate the opening, plus if you spend £30 or more, you can try and find a prize in the curiosity cabinet.
With halloween just around the corner, Homesense has to be the best shop ever to find unusual decor and spooky table wear ready for your Halloween parties. Emma AKA Skullmadmama grabbed some gorgeous gold skull stemless wine glasses and the other day you may of saw the cocktail shaker I got from our local store.
This store is on 2 levels, with huge range of every thing from lights, bedding, cook wear, to candles, toiletries and to the best range of unusual ornaments you have ever seen. Before I show you what I treated myself to, here are some pictures from inside the store. Also this weekend, there is free delivery on any of the pieces of furniture.
If you have never been to a Homesense store before, I really recommend you try it, a lot of the products are up to 60% cheaper than the RRP. Plus the range is so vast, they literally have some thing for every taste. I just wish I had more space in my house.. I love the sausage dog lamp, just no where to put it… yet!
This is what I treated myself too..
After sorting my desk out, I just had to have a new desk diary, this one is just for my blogging work, it has a great calendar layout each month so I can plan my posts in advance. Plus it matches the wall in the dinning room! It was meant to be!
My husband would say I do not need a throw, but the throws in Homesense were just so soft, I couldn’t resist. I am sure he will be trying to steal it when the weather turns colder. They had so many to pick from, I just went for a neutral grey so I can use in the bedroom or sitting room.
This candle smells so good! You may recognise it from my desk post, but I did buy a 2nd one! This one is double the size, and the smell is exactly like incense sticks. I know I could just burn some incense sticks, but I hate the mess they make. I’ve never heard of this make before, but I have to say its a favourite now, plus the bottle is so pretty! And well the hand, its just some thing quirky for the bookcase in the dinning room.
Let me know if you visit, and I would love to see what you purchased, tweet me a picture or tag me on Instagram. Happy shopping!
